After much thought and several months, Rico has decided to leave his job at the end of May, and before he decides what to do next, we, the Rico family, are going to jump in the car (whether it's the Pathfinder or a rented RV is still to be determined) and head north to destinations unknown until we get there! Time is no option, what a wonderful feeling!
San Luis Obispo, Carmel, Monterey, the Sequoias, San Francisco, Napa, and that's just California! Oregon, Washington and Canada have also come up in our thoughts. The possibilities are endless, and we can't wait.
We are really looking forward to the togetherness with no stress and no worries. Watching the baby grow and change (as he does daily) is top on the priority list! Relaxing, nice long hikes, good food, beautiful scenery, just being together, these are also up there on the list! The idea is just to take our time and enjoy. Even the date of our departure has not been decided yet, probably mid-June, returnig mid-July, all that will be decided as we go alone.
